It features Atco’s advanced Quick Exchange system, which allows the six-blade cutting cassette to be removed for replacement or regrinding. By substituting this cassette for the Free-of-Charge scarifier cassette, the mower can be converted into a powered rake. This self-propelled machine has a three-way drive system which allows the blades to be disengaged without cutting the engine, convenient when emptying the grassbox or when manoeuvring over non-grass surfaces. A smooth, even cut is ensured thanks to its spring-tine comb, which lift the grass before cutting, while heavy steel front and rear rollers produce a traditional striped finish. The Balmoral 17SK has a cutting width of 43cm (17â€), while the cutting height is infinitely adjustable from 6mm to 36mm. An impact resistant grassbox is supplied as standard and a 10 blade cutting cassette is available as an optional extra.
